I just love to see white blooms in the garden. They make things looks to "fresh".
    I'll start with the Osteospermum.

And a very early Butterfly Ginger bloom. As you can tell, they haven't been getting enough water but... it still gives me those heavenly-scented-butterfly-shaped blooms.

And my newly acquired WHITE Texas Star Hibiscus.
I think I'm gonna love this one just as much as the Red!

Thanks Netty! I hope the other two buds don't open at the same time... the plant is still so small it might tip over. :D

Bliss... I didn't know they came in white either. Just found it at the nursery the other day. And you're absolutely right about the fragrance of the Ginger... I wish I had a constantly wet area to plant a bunch of them in.

I love white flowers too! We sometimes forget how beautiful that very colour is! By the way, anyone has white marigold seeds? I am desperately looking for them since a couple of years now. The packed ones don't work for me :(

    Nice blooms, Cheryl!
You are right about white flowers accenting and "freshening-up" the appearance of a garden.

    Pretty flowers.

I have a 'thing' about white flowers in a garden as they always look so bright against the other colours. They even appear to glow in the dark don't they? I would love to have all of yours to add to my collection. :stew2:

Hi, I really like the white hibiscus...it looks almost plastic, never seen one that colour before, thanks for the show.

Pretty whites! I had never paid much attention to them until one day my grandma mentioned how much she liked them. Then, all of a sudden, I started appreciating them a whole lot more :-D

Bliss... I had some white Marigolds a couple years ago... found them on the markdown rack, with no labels. I thought they were carnations. Come to find out they were Marigolds, but the seeds weren't viable. I bought a pack of seeds for white Marigolds last year. They grew and bloomed, albeit late. They reseeded this year and are growing like weeds... literally! I've pulled up so many just because there is no sign of a bud and they are getting to be 2-3 foot tall. I left a few "just because". I'm not going to mess with them any more.
