I was watching the weather channel while we were eating breakfast. They have a segment called, "Local on the eights!" It gives local weather forecast for 5 days. I was looking to see how bad a storm we would get on Thursday. It had Wednesday's weather, and then, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I guess Thursday has been cancelled due to storms! dooley
I have had Thursdays I would like to have been able to cancel. So pretty much anything you do during that 24 hour period doesn't count. No calories in sweets, no alcohol in wine, wow, think of the possibilities.
Dooley, we have found that when "severe weather" warnings are posted on our local newscast, we can count on sunshine, light breezes, and mild temperatures. But I must say they have never cancelled a day, even Thursday (which is pretty much nondescript anyway). Enjoy your non-day, which is not even close to Monday!
Hmm. I like Thursdays. That is Girl's Day out for me with a friend. She cleans the church, and I help her out. I also do the bulletins for our church and practice piano and organ; and we run errands and just run around if we feel like it. Sometimes I go to her house and help her with yard work. She is older than I am, and kinda crippled with arthritis. We have a lot of fun on Thursdays.
If I had a choice, I think it would be Mondays that I would cancel. Not all of them, just an occasional Monday.
Since it's supposed to rain tomorrow I guess it cancels outside work. I'm getting old enough that I really don't want anyone to cancel any days. I need them all. I work so much slower that it takes me longer to get jobs done that I could do in much shorter time when I was just a few years younger. But, I am not ready to pack it up and sit in front of the television. We don't even have a television. I'd have to stare at the walls. Besides who would plant my flowers. dooley

Tomorrow does sound boring though rain work blah! And I can't believe you don't own a tv. Not going to lie I love my HBO. True blood, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire. That's my kids are asleep all is quite relax time! But sshhh I normally pass out while watching! Haha
But, but! I have Thursday off from work! Does that mean I dont get my day off and have to go straight back to work?? Nooooooo! Silly weather people!
You all can have a couple of my days. I never remember what day it is anyway. I don't mind sharing with my fellow Stewers. :-D
I only wish we could cancel Thursday! I think Thursdays are my busiest day of the week and I am usually exhausted by the time to get to bed!
