I woke up this morning and it was Thursday so I guess it wasn't cancelled after all. So, I used the weed eater and got all that tall grass around the flower bed and along side of the house before the thing ran out of string. Brian got the larger weed eater and finished up the driveway area. I dug up another flower bed by the front of the deck and will plant something in it tomorrow. I guess since Thursday wasn't cancelled, tomorrow will be Friday. You all have a great Friday because the weekend starts the next day which will be Saturday. dooley
Well, It's just as well that that didn't happen. Just think if we canceled any day of the week or month, well, us Stewers here at Stewerland would be ahead of the whole world. Some people in the rest of the world would be jealous.
I, too am glad Thursday wasn't canceled. I made 5 batches of freezer jam, 1 batch of cooked jam, 3 batches of elderberry jelly (from the freezer berries), tied tomatoes up in the greenhouse for an hour...cleaned the house some. ordered pizza for dinner. Finished Adrians graduation announcements....I was tired. I would have had twice as much to do today had they canceled yesterday....oh boy, and Ollie is coming today.
Barb, hurry up or by the time you get here he will be gone. Ollie is my little Friday sidekick. He is the little boy I have babysat since he was 8 months old. Now I only have him on Fridays, which works very well for me. He will be 3 this month.
