So i figured I would use the last of my thyme seeds, from year before last, and see if they germinated... it seems they are prolific and long lived because i ended up making a little forest. Yes I plan to thin these out as soon as I have the heart to pull some up with tweezers... but In the meantime I thought the photo oppertunities would be awesome. They are only sprouts so don't be disappointed. I actually had tried to sppread them out but i guess when i watered them the seeds congregated to one spont >.<

this is when they first started shwoing their tiny green heads :D

This is a week or so later, when i noticed they had moved all to one spot

and this was a couple days ago!!! rich little thyme forest. I hope to pull some up and spread them out if possible, but it won't be the end of the world if I am not able to save every tiny little one, but i figured this would be a nice thing to look at :D

In the Culinary World they are called Microgreen. I came across it from watching cooking shows. Before I knew about it I just compost them but now I get to enjoy them.:)
Try it, I'm sure you would like it!:D
