We planned our visit to Glenda way back the end of February and time has just dragged past. Now, though it's really flying. Only two weeks before we leave on the 21st. We are taking the train and it takes 39 hours as there is an 8 hour lay over in San Antonio. We will get into Dallas, hopefully, at 3:20pm on the 23rd. It will take us about three more hours to get to Glenda's. I don't have my suitcase packed yet. I still have a few things to do before then and still have a few days to work. We'll be ready to leave long before the day comes though. dooley

Wow, you three should have lots of fun together. Is that 8 hour layover in San Antonio during the day? Maybe you could go to the Alamo or the San Antonio River Walk instead of sitting the whole time in the train station. It is a shame the train doesn't go straight east from San Antonio to Houston. Catching the train from Houston to Dallas would get you to the stop near Glenda much much sooner.
