Time to harvest ginger?

I have these ginger been growing for 7 months and becoming brown more.
Is it the right time to harvest?

This is what i found

Ginger is ready to harvest between eight to ten months after it has been planted. The flowers will have blossomed and the leaves turned yellow and wilted. Harvest and enjoy. Use your hands to grab rhizomes from the outer ring of growth or, if you are finished with your growing, take out the entire plant system.

 

Logan very helpful advice. I had grown ginger from grocery store rhizomes. They grow well when it heats up . They are nice little plants but never seems to flower due to a very short season in my zone.

Yeah, my ginger plants did not flower either.
