Time to pick.

    I like to pick a few mountain ash berries (actually I pick 4 or 5 bags of them)and put them in the freezer for later. Of course they are for the birds. When winter arrives, many birds stay here, the berries on the trees etc have gone, so I bring out a few each day. The berries go red early but I wait till the robins start eating them before I pick them.

    Judging by your photographs you certainly have a great variety of species that know your garden is a good place to stop and feed during winter.
