Tiny 1/2 inch Grasshoppers covering yard!!

    Parts of my yard are covered with tiny 1/2 inch grasshoppers. When you walk there they swarm up all around you. Other parts are grasshopper free. Do you think they are after one type of plant? There are yellow daisy like wildflowers there.So far, they haven't invaded the garden. Is there a safe way to get rid of them. To send them on their way to somewhere else. My son was complaining about them being in his back yard. He has no wildflowers like mine. He has mostly grass and trees and horehound since he didn't pull it in the spring. Dooley

    here where i live now we don't have a problem with them but where i lived before they were everywhere in the fields.i kinda liked em' though.(probably 'cause i did not have any flowers or vegetables)

    they are probably there because that is where they hatched. And do they have sort of a pinkish color cus that is what I have in my yard too.
