I have a couple more and probably the final ones for this event. The sun is trying to come out :'(
We did get about two hours of additional snowfall after I made my blog entry earlier, right now with the wind blowing so strong it is hard to tell what is new snowfall and what is blowing off the roof.

I had to go put more birdseed out, Randy came out with camera in hand. Those white dots are snowflakes....or they could be faerie folk enjoying the snow too.

Looks like you got a little less than we did, ours is all gone now and it's back to raining. Wettest November since they started keeping record!
Anyhow, it's fun to see all your yard doodads!

I'd bet you'll remember this day for a while Toni. Having the pictures to reflect upon will be a pleasure whenever you miss a bit of snow.

BTW I just noticed you are on 999 posts :smt026

They do look like fairy folk, especially the one with the red hat.

Oh, Jan, I tried to hide the wings, but they are sometimes unruly things.

Frank, I guess this makes number 1000 for me. I was just reviewing the posts on my topic and noticed the mention of post 999. Wow and I hit 100 blog entries with the "Can you say artic front" entry.

The only thing I ever got into trouble for in school was talking too much (or at the wrong time). I think being here has given me a release for all the words I have repressed over the years. But it could be that ,yeah, I still talk too much sometimes.
    :-D :-D

At midnight the temp here is 27, going down to around 21 by morning. All the snow is still on the ground of course, the temp will not go above freezing (32) before about 10am Friday morning. Then it will go up to the mid 40's to 50's for a high then it will be byebye snow.

I thoroughly enjoyed my snow day, I can only hope for another one when winter actually gets here but I am not holding my breath.

Every time I tried to get a picture of the number of birds at the feeders, they got spooked and flew off. I tried to count them a couple of times, but lost count at 26. No sparrows or doves yesterday, just the big grackles and Red winged blackbirds. They were hopping, pecking at each other and flitting all over the backyard.
