I planted some candy lily seeds in August. After some came up they kept getting knocked over and the dirt turned up. I didn't know what was doing it until I came across this little fellow in the box.

It's my little patio toad. Usually he lives in a coleus pot but I guess he was on "vacation". After a few days he went back to the coleus.

Gosh it took me a while to find him as he blends in so well with his surroundings. We found a frog in one of our compost bins yesterday but he was too fast for me to take his piccie.

Isn't he just wonderful!! You can hardly see him in his little hole. All the better to catch those flies that get too close.

Great photo Bethie. He is so cute. Maybe he was playing hide and go seek with his little toad buddies.
