Todays bird addition.

    Todays bird addition is the dark-eyed junco. Rather wet and dull today, not bad though for photography as sometimes all the sunshine poses problems.

    We get them here at the feeder but not a lot of them. That's a great picture of what, to me, is a pretty bird with soft colors

    I'd never seen a Junco until I joined GardenStew. I didn't even know there was such a bird in existence. :oops:

    They come ever fall when our weather turns cold and after it starts to warm up they leave. Beautiful picture and they are such a sweet little bird. I love how they grab a peanut and fly off...they also love safflower .
