    Sadly Netty Britain and America can't trade any kind of plant materials with each other in case we also send diseases or bugs which could harm our native plants. :'( I wish it were different as I really would love to have the butterfly weed in my garden. :(
    Thank you so much for the offer though as it is very much appreciated. :kiss:

    Very pretty! What's the diff between butterfly bush and butterfly weed. I just started 4 bushes this summer. They aren't very big yet but, what blooms they have put on smell wonderful.

    Teddy Bear - the Butterfly weed is in the milkweed family (Asclepias tuberosa). The Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) is more shrub like.

    Howdy, ALL;
    Double thanks from me to Netty & Teddybear; to Teddybear for asking a question that also had me wondering and to Netty for your definitive answer... One further clarification is needed by me, though it may seem obvious to others... The Asclepias (milkweed) family is the larval host plant to the Monarch Butterfly?.. And the Buddleia group gets its common name (Butterfly Bush) because its flowers seem attractive to Butterflies in general?.. The Buddleia group is not a host plant (to the Monarchs, anyway), correct???.. Hank
