It's getting to be every gardener's favorite time of year when everything starts to bloom. Here's a few from today. Hummers just love this new cestrum. Wonderful vanilla scented heliotrope. Waterlily. This lantana "mozelle" wintered over in my storm house. All eight made it but the two orange ones didn't. This is a native but I don't recall the name so jump on in if you know it. The dappled light on this passion vine is great. This is native and grows in fencerows all over but is still a great favorite for me.
OO I want a waterlily like yours Bethie. I have a passion for them but sadly my pond just isn't big enough to take any more.
Fantastic flowers, bethie!! I sure wish I could take a deep whiff of that Heliotrope. And I love the Cestrum, I've never tried growing that, but I may have to give it a go, if I can find one. #5 is Spigelia marilandica ("Indian Pinks"). Mine are just finishing blooming. I took this photo last year
I enjoyed the great bloom show.I love them all.You know me I want them all.I do have a purple passion vine and a red supose to be but it never bloomed last year so don't know unless it blooms this year.
I love the last pic. and all of the others too. My wish list is going to be three pages long if everyone keeps posting pics.
