Wow! Donna, you are so far ahead of us here, most people don't plan on planting anything out until Memorial day. I love your marigold bed.
Donna!I'm about to drool on my keyboard.Your photos are proof that standbys like petunias, marigolds & my beloved zinnias can make a smashing display! Just love your yard. It has inspired me to get out there & get started planting my annuals. So many people say they don't want annuals but want plants that come up every year.I leave a lot of space reserved for my annuals. I like to change my mind about what to plant where. My plants are ready but they keep saying we might get nasty storms with wind & hail.,so I'm holding off. sewNsow
Looking very good! Can't wait to see all those marigolds filled out. And I love your mirror idea... great way to make the garden look even bigger!
Donna S, You have a very nice looking garden. The flowers are all beautiful. And I love your swan. Barb in Pa.
Donna-beautiful, thank you! I particularly like the shot of the clematis growing on the trellis on your shed. Very charming! I also love thw swan and your garden 'window'. Beautiful!
Good morning all and thank you for the nice comments. SewNSew - I love annuals because they bloom all spring, summer and fall. And I don't have to remember where I planted them next year. My gardens are completely different each year. Pianolady - Glare is not a problem. I have 3 mirrors and the birds love them. I have more pictures in my blog of mirrors and critters.
A lovely garden Donna, a lot of depth and variety to keep one's interest. An early spring has had its advantages. Especially as we get to enjoy your garden longer. Jerry
Very lush green grass,..it shows up in contrast to the splendor of the blooms,..you are going to have a spectacular bed of Marigolds when that bed fills in,..lovely garden and fence.
