What a lovely display your phlox makes Barb. My lilacs are just coming into leaf so it will be a while before they bloom like yours. I do soooo love the scent of lilacs in the garden. :-D

My lilacs were so pretty this year. I was sorry to see the blooms fade. There is one beside the walkway and another beside the driveway (and two more) and I stopped to bury my nose in a bloom every time I passed. Mmm. The scent is heavenly.
B, that looks wonderful there. The lilacs and phlox are gorgeous. They all look so good I can almost imagine that I can smell them.
