I have it growing in my garden and I agree with Sjoerd - it's honeysuckle.

This quiz is really going to teach me to pay attention to proper names for plants instead of just their common names!
I, too, have some growing wild in the back fence. Very fragrant in early Spring.

It was one of the first bushes I planted in the yard. It is now 33 years old and still going strong. Butterflies love the honeysuckle bush.

Hummingbirds like mine. It blooms from spring through first frost :stew1: It too was one of my first plantings and is such a no fuss plant (once I got a support for it). Mine has pretty orange/red blooms

If honeysuckle is correct, then I have both the wild honeysuckle vines and the shrubs here. I have a huge "shrub" that I call a tree because it is bigger than my house. I prune it heavily most years, and it is still bigger than my house. I love the tiny white flowers and their fragrance, but my allergies do not get along with them at all.
