I hate getting a head cold at this time of year as it always seems to linger on. Keep warm and, fingers crossed, you'll soon be feeling better.

Hot toddies, lots and lots of hot toddies. They may not cure your cold, but you won't mind it as much! Hope you get well soon--so annoying to have a cold. :setc_063:

I'm on the mend from a "told in the noze" No fun!
The weather is crumby, so we're staying home. Neither one of us has been sick for years! Then, Bob got sick, and then sicker, so I finally had to drag him to the doctor, he has bronchitis. I am his nurse maid...
Watching the snow accumulate,a little cabin fever going on here! I am in charge of a sick man, two cats, and a spoiled dog...
    We'll get through it...

Sorry to hear about your head cold Capt.
There has been one handed down in my family since Christmas and it would appear that it is now my time to 'enjoy' it for a week or so.

Someone please pass the Whiskey, don't bother heating it up I'll just drink it straight from the bottle

Due to the meds I have to take for my heart, about the only thing I can take for a cold is tylenol and zycam. But it does seem to work. The zync in the zycam dries my cold right up. The tylenol keeps the discomfort down quite a bit too.

Oh dear... Cold season is the pits. I hope everyone (plus your kids, husbands and dogs) is feeling better soon. It's Monday, I work in a school, and it seems like every child I've come in contact with today has been sniffling, sneezing and oozing stuff.... I hope I'm not in line for whatever they've (and you've) got. Take care everyone! Push fluids and get plenty of rest.
