We have a scruffy little dog living down the road. She loves bread and frequently shows up at the door and sits waiting. She doesn't bark, she just sits and waits until someone notices her. dr gives her a slice of bread and she goes off carrying it in her mouth. She also escorts us past her house every time we leave to go to town. She runs along side the truck barking. I am afraid one day she will get hit. Yesterday, when we were going to town dr brought along a piece of leftover French toast. When she started to bark he rolled down the window and threw out the piece of French toast. She stopped and picked it up and carried it off. This morning I made muffins for breakfast and having more than we needed I put some in a bag and carried them down to the neighbors. This sign was posted by the side of the road.
That's cute, Goldie has probably been waiting year for someone to put that sign there. Wonder how may others will start paying her 'toll'

Her owner didn't know about the sign until he drove out his gate on the way to town. This is a very smart and inventive doggy. dr
