What causes tom flowers to just die? In a cluster of say 6 flowers, maybe 1 or 2 form a baby tomato, the others simply turn brown, and snap off at the node that is above it. Did those flowers not get pollinated?
Maybe something is missing from the growing medium? The two types I'm growing are Cherokee Purples and Garden Leader Monster. There are some formed tomatoes on all of my plants, but I've never seen so many
    dead flowers.

Heat will cause the flowers to abort. Anything over 90 degrees will be too high to pollinate them.

Wow, anything over 90 degrees? Ok, thanks.
