I can't decide if this is a weed or a tomato. The leaves look like my more mature tomatoes but I have a dozen of these little things scattered all over my garden, in places my seeds shouldn't be.

    Also, carrots right?

dont think thats a tom, it looks too shiny and i havnt seen them like that before. Rub the leaves and see if they have that nice tom smell.

not sure on the carrots but where would the seeds come from, there annual vegies right?
part of it looks like a carrot but im sure other stuff looks like carrots too..

I'd pretty much bet that the top pic is a young maple tree. Not sure what the other is. It kinda looks like carrot, but Queen Anne's Lace is a member of the carrot family too.

I have to agree with NemoToad, I think that looks like a maple tree. I just pulled a bunch out of my strawberry patch the other day. Sorry I can't help out on your second pict.

I'd say the top pic is definitely a maple tree seedling. Not sure on the second one but it certainly looks like it could be wild carrot aka queen anne's lace, or possibly going to risk sounding dumb here some wild larkspur....leaves are very similar..just a guess

Thanks for the replys! Maple makes sense, I have a few large ones nearby. Gonna trim down the other, see if it will grow, as its been the same size for awhile now.

    Thanks again.

The top for sure is not a tomato and I have never seen a maple to know what it was.The second one sure looks like queen ann's lace or larkspur. They almost look alike.

I think the first is also a maple...and if you have em all over, there's most likely a maple tree nearby thats blowing its seeds all over the place

Um Thomas...did you plant carrots there? I would say those are your carrots. A lot of other plants have similar foliage.

I would say almost certainly the second photo is carrots, and a nice crop of seedlings you have there.
