Too much work for the squirrels......

I could never figure out why the squirrels would only sit on top of the pergola and not try to get at the feeders. Well, the other day I happened to be watching them and all of a sudden one climbs on the large feeder with sunflower seeds in it...I have wire around it basically because some of the larger birds will empty it in a day or two. He grabbed some sunflower seeds and then climbed back down and got back on the tray feeder where he didn't have to work so hard for it.






They love those peanuts....
