Hubby had a meeting, so we have a little respite from the home improvement scene. So I grabbed my camera to see what survives in 100+ heat and no rain for weeks. Thanks to our shade, quite a bit actually has. I've given in and watered the vegetable garden some. The corn is done though, hose doesn't reach that far.

Everything but the corn has seemed to like the heat. I have given in and watered this garden. I have tomato plants 6 feet tall this year & setting on heavy.

Very nice. Love the yellow planting! Looks a lot different with all the flowers.

Your gardens are doing well despite the heat and lack of water. I am in the same boat here ... the veggies get watered but not much else. Still no rain in the forecast for a while...

Given the lack of rain and the extreme heat the garden is doing well. I wonder who is getting all the rain?

We've had a bit of rain here in the southeast lately.
