Remember the Kitchen Herbs plaque I made out of an old wooden tool box that fell apart. Well I can't find the link to show the finished plaque and shelf. The shelf is made from the top of an old oak barrel that fell apart and has just been sitting in the barn. Here it is all put together now.

Thats a pot of sweet marjoram that is growing nicely, that I grew from seed.

(Thinking is there any more projects that I haven't posted since the ISP troubles,,,,hmmmm) I'm sure I'll be reminded,,,lol.

Wow, that is wonderful looking. The other picture was pretty dark so we couldn't see all the details but this is great.
If you ever get tired of it, just let me know :-D

Well done, you! That looks supurb and the tint of red in the lettering really gives it a special look. I like this whole setting.

Well! Aren't you the clever one?!
I've never seen the top of a humble barrel used better than that!
The entire vignette is thoroughly charming. :D

I love using recycled materials and have a lot of rustic pieces throughout my home and garden. Ahhh the stories they could tell...
