This tree has small pink blossoms that have not opened yet. The tag says Standard patio, no name.

I can't see the leaves on it but it reminds me of a crepe myrtle bush.

That's possible glendann. I've never seen leaves like that. I'll know more when the blossoms open. Thanks

I can't see the leaves that well either but it might be a hibiscus?

I lean toward Hibiscus, Pepperdude. Only because it was amongst other sale plants. The leaves are silvery, thin and soft. No blossoms yet. :dizzy:
    I'm like a nervous Mom-to-be.

Could you take some macro fotos of tghe leaves and flower buds and post them?
It doesn't look like the usual habitus of a Hibiscus to me in that foto that you posted.
Maybe it's my eyes, but I can't make out the leaves, stems and buds very well.

I have been thinking more along the lines of a Rose of Sharon. Hibiscus is usually a multi-stem shrub with huge flowers.

Okay, will send a more detailed picture tomorrow. I've searched and it's still a mystery. Thanks all for your suggestions.
