I really hope the tree swallows don't give up and let the sparrow have their home but the sparrow is quite a pest and wants it too....

I hope the tree swallows manage to hold on to their home and that the sparrow finds somewhere else to bring up its young.

They are looking so nice there, Sherry...like they are sunning themselves while they wait and think. :)
Their colours really are attractive. I just really enjoy it when you post your bird pics.

I like swallows. We've got a couple nesting in the riding hall. :D I don't mind sparrows, but I'd rather have the swallows.

I don't mind the sparrows either but they have taken over every bird house I have. Lucky they can't squeeze into a wren house or they would be looking for a different place.

The sparrow seems to have disappeared for now...maybe he found another nesting place so the tree swallows are building a nest in the bird house. I even had a wren looking at it again.

Great news Sherry. I hope the wren decides to move in but not in the Tree Swallow's box. Let's hope it finds a nest site that it likes to set up home.

Nice pics Sherry, I would have the swallows anytime compared to the sparrows. :)

In my area the sparrows also disappear for awhile but when they return, they would be all over!!!
