I think it is the plum and cherry trees that are blooming, but what do I know about flowering trees...next to nothing...they are trees with flowers. They certainly brighten up a cloudy day.

The flowering trees greet me and make me very happy every morning as I leave town for work. After leaving town I notice the wild flowering trees along the drive. If I took a camera in the car on my way to work I'd probably be extremely late as I could easily get lost in taking pictures of the greenness and color that is layering itself on my world.

I noticed several magnolia trees with big buds that looked like they would be opening this week. I can hardly wait.

Thanks Jewell! They just scream Spring, dont' they....

Baltimore streets are lined with flowering trees -- I'll have to snap a few when they bloom. It's an interesting contrast, nature in the urban setting.

What a gorgeous sight for my eyes, Jewell. They are just as pretty as can be and they reeally do let one know that spring has arrived.

So pretty. Getting close to that here in our little town 11 miles away. Can't wait.
