Nan the trellis looks great!! I look forward to seeing it again when you have all the plants in place. Superb job.
My Goodness!! and to think my 10 poles and some wire, and i thought i was ingenious...lol. Nan that is amazing. Very artistic and functional. Please post when you have the plants in, and growing. that is going to be even more beautiful then.
Thank you all. The challenging part is to make the curved beams on the top. We considered using cedar or synthetic deck board but it's turned too hard for us to work with these materials. The outside curve is 16 feet long. Eventaully, we decided to to use four fiberglass landscape edging boards. They very easy to work with - just use roof nails to attach them to posts.
That is a beautifully designed work of art. And to think what a few months has done. It all looks amazing. Wish it was in my yard!
That is an amaing structure. I can just imagine it with all the fruit hanging down. Do you use it for anything else? Gardengater
Yeh, we've got lots of fruits hanging down now. Gardengater, I am not sure what I can do with it in winter. Maybe I can use it for Christmas decoration?
That's the most productive trellis garden I've ever seen. Gorgeous! I would say it's done its job. Thanks for sharing the video, Nan. Gardengater
Holy catfish, Nan! I have never seen such a beautiful sight. Did I see Cucuzza? Your tomato plants seem to have very little foliage. Do you prune them? The trells could be used as a playscape for children I think. LOL
Nan, I would most certainly decorate it with lights for Christmas. That would be beautiful and we will be looking forward to those pictures. Thanks for sharing your video. WOW
