They were saying a high of 82 for central Ohio today. It's now 87 and it's only 2:45 pm. and it's more humid too. Our average temp for early May is 70. But it's working so nothing to worry about yet!
We have been hovering between 85-90 lately, not unusual for us this time of year just not welcomed by me anyway. Our central AC unit needs a coil, it runs and keeps us cool but it runs longer than it should so early next month that will get done before the really hot part of summer starts.
We just went through a bunch of stuff with our central AC, had a simple check, because it ran for 8,9,10 hrs to cool down 1 degree maybe?, hubby cleaned coils, in air handler also fan and motor, had some guy check Freon, no diff. so today had a little Gal air tech, come and here we had a faulty relay switch and heat was running with the AC...not good, she put a new switch in, added some freon and my oh my what a difference! blowing frigid now, but no need for it this week, but at least now we're ready! cause hot, hot, hot is coming back for us in SW Fla. always...
It's been very warm here in southern Ontario too. Today's high was 27°C (80°F) I noticed a big difference in the amount of trees leafing out since this morning.
Having been in that business for 37 years, this is bringing back lots of old memories. Glad to hear that your problems are resolved. That's the aim of our business. Tom
I finally gave in and turned my air conditioner on yesterday, but not because it was hot. Something really set off my allergies the last few days, our pollen count is off the charts right now according to the news. So, I turned on the air and hid out inside today, and am feeling much better!
