Lovely fotos. That glass sculpture in the fountain looks like a Dale Chihuly piece of art. He wass commissioned to do some pieces at KEW Gardens in London a while ago. Remarkable stuff.

They have some really exotic varities there in Atlanta, don't they.
I enjoyed seeing the pictures--very exotic.

What wonderful photographs. I, too, really like the pitcher plants. I'd love to be able to grow exotics like that over here.
The glass fontain looks very fragile. I doubt if it would stand up to our weather conditions.

Oh, thanks! I love looking at these since they sure don't grow in my gardens around here. I'm going to go through them again! I thought Chihuly when I saw the fountain too. The heliamphora is real interesting to me.

That glass fountain is a Chihuly. Several years ago they had a showing of his works muixed in with the plants at the Franklin Conservatory at Columbus Ohio. We went to see it and it was amazing. Through donations, the conservatory purchased the display and every few year they set pieces of the glass up on display. I think they have a display there now. They must have about 200 or more pieces of his work.

Thanks all! I'm glad y'all liked them. I remember I passed a guided tour near that fountain and I heard the guide say something about the artist Chihuly made it. I went there for a class, but had been wanting to go there for a while and that was my chance so I took that chance and took as many pictures as I could. I must have taken around 130 some pictures. It was a pretty amazing place with many different gardens from Japanese themed to desert, tropical, and pine themed. I had a blast and recommend it if any of you happen to be in Atlanta.
