Here are some scenic photos of a recent vacation. Hope you enjoy the scenery. These were all taken in and around the Myrtle Beach area. :stew1:

I could almost feel the sea breeze on my face as I looked at your photographs. Silvery sands, the ocean, wonderful scenery and sunshine - who could ask for more?
I love the shot of all those fish coming up for treats!!
I hope you didn't strain your back catching that BIG fish. ;)

I loved seeing the ocean/waterfront. Interesting trees, and laughed at the catfish (?). They reminded me of dogs begging for food. Thanks for sharing

Now, that's a vacation spot I'd really have liked to go to. :D That beach looks very inviting, as do the surroundings. Your catch is very pretty, and those colours sort of look unreal. What kind of monster fish is that?

I had to laugh at the fish waiting for food. Well caught. :D

Droopy the colors are unreal on that huge "catch" ;) in the picture with myself. I guess it was placed there just for tourists to make a fun photo. :D
The fish in the pic gathering to be fed are catfish I believe. There are machines along the pier with food that guests can purchase to feed those fish. I guess they are not shy now and gather alongside as soon as they sense someone on the pier. They reminded me of baby birds the way they held their mouths open just waiting to be fed.
I wish I could remember the name of those twisted trees at the park. It seems as though it's pepper something or other.

Loved the fountain pictures. And those peirs-When we go further north-I love walking on the pier and looking at all the differant/big boats. Thanks, now I can see a little of what Myrtle Beach is about.

There is nothing I like better than walking the beach early in the a.m.... love those silhouette'd shots... I can hear the birds, smell the sea and feel the breeze... I've never been to Myrtle Beach. It's looks like a wonderful spot.

Thanks for the beautifully done photos, Tammyd. I live on the coast of NC and we are very proud of our coastline and beaches. Have been to Myrtle Beach at Christmas and there are very good Christmas shows there, but I'd like to visit again in the summer. Thanks for the reminder.

Gardengater -- you have good cause to be proud of those beaches... sooooo so beautiful.. I went to the Outer Banks fro many years, Corolla down to Ocracoke Island. It's been a while since I've been there now, about 5 years or so... boy, I miss it...
