I got the plants all moved over the weekend and they're tucked inside the garage and ready for the cold weather (if it ever gets here). Some are hardy enough to stay outdoors... and few have places inside the house. But the majority of them are shown below. plants tucked in for winter ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) Now hurry up Springtime... I want to play in the dirt! :-D
I might send you some of our below-zero-degrees if you ask me nicely. Your plants look really comfy in there.
Cherylad - Is there still room for your car? Or maybe you ought to just turn that garage into a greenhouse... May your plants have a nice, restful winter!
Oh I could do with a garage to store all my plants!! They all look very happy to live through the winter sheltered from the worst of the weather. If you ever feel as though you are pining for some heavy rain, snow, sleet, frost or simply really cold temperatures you know who to ask don't you?
Car? In a garage? Never heard of it! I don't know why I still call this the garage... it is now my storage unit, garden shed, hubby's workshop. Plus we just hang out there sometimes and watch the birds at the feeder. Hmmm.... what name encompasses all of that? I'm so glad to have a place to house the plants over the winter. Before I just used an old tent. Hopefully I won't lose any to the cold. And yes... we need some cooler weather still!! (no snow and ice please!)
