I have a few coming up but they dont do well as its never cold enough here.I'm looking forward to seeing them bloom Barb.
No, not yet. They're going to poke up in about two months' time if things go according to plan, but they won't bloom for at least another three-four months, silly things.
Mine may be poking through the soil too but I can't tell as the garden is still covered in around 3" of snow with more falling all the time.
No sign yet. I saw a few narcissus points and some hycinths...but that's about it out on the lottie. You are going to have them before me, you lucky thing. I did buy some tulips from the farmers here day before yesterday for next to nothing. Did I mention that I was ready for spring?
I have to say mine are very early.. Only one patch is up. All the snow is melted.. By accident yesterday at 60º . more snow for the weekend. These were huge bulbs, maybe makes a difference.. Hope it doesnt ruin them.. b
No sign of mine here yet either Barb. No rush - they usually don't bloom until May. But I can't wait to see the new Parrot Tulips I put in last fall
My tulips are still under several feet of snow. But I can't wait to see them grow. I just planted some in the fall, along with crocus, daffs and hyacynthns.
