Turkey butchering!

    There are only 3 of us for Thanksgiving, so a whole turkey has a lot that goes to waste and we end up throwing a lot away. So the past few years we have gotten a fresh turkey instead of a frozen one. This year it is a 12 pound bird. We cut it in half and fix 1/2 for Thanksgiving and 1/2 for Christmas. And it works out good for us.

    I love Turkey! When I cook Turkey, I like to make sure it's a big one so we have lots of leftovers!

    That sound very economical Capt. Nothing worse than
    waste! At least by doing it that way, there is light and dark meat to please everyone.
