Saturday, dr went to the flea market and bought me a turtle. It was made by Frank Littlehorse. He's Navaho but they called themselves Dine' which means "the people." The design is "The Storyteller" which is also marked on the bottom with the date. Same turtle, three views.

The next picture is an owl that dr bought for the garden. It is hollow and you fill it with sand or gravel to weight it.

The last picture is a hot air balloon with a little bear going for a ride. The balloon is hooked to the ceiling fan but dr says we have to move it before we turn the fan on or that little bear would really go for a ride. The balloon is about 10 inches high and 8 inches across. I found it at the DAV thrift store on Friday.

I have a couple more things that I will get pictures of tomorrow and post. Two more turtles and of course some more gnomes. Dooley

If I ever get within shoutin' distance, I'll be sure to stop in for tea. But, I probably won't come in a hot air balloon. I sure do like keeping my feet on the ground or close to it. Dooley

The top shelf on my computer desk now has turtles. I hope that I don't accumulate as many turtles as I do bears. Dooley

If it gets that crowded, a lot of turtles and bears will move to the barn.

The turtle is a work of art. That owl is often used around the pond to scare other bird predators away, so the fish don't get eaten.
