Two more images for photo year.

    Although I have them around the deck each day, I like to get an image away from the feeders etc. Plus, I don't want to post 10 birds or more in a day. Today I have the Bewick's Wren and a male house finch, I will be trying to get a better picture of the finch though.

    We don't have Bewick's Wrens here but our European one has been around the garden quite a bit lately. Usually you don't notice it as it skulks in the undergrowth but with the snow it stands out more clearly. The House finch resembles our Linnets as it has much the same colouring.

    I appreciate that getting non-feeder photos requires a bit more stealth Kildale, so thumbs up from me :smt023

    Great photos Kildale. We here in Wisconsin do have the House finch. But over the last few years they have been in decline. I love seeing all the wildlife in other areas of the world. :stew1:
