Two pictures this morning

    First one is in neighbors yard. Glad he's not in mine.
    Second picture is what I found hanging on the back fence. It's been there for years. I

    Neither wonder you were glad that bird didn't land in your garden. Are vultures common around your area? Thankfully we don't have anything like that here in Scotland. I do have a pair of Sparrow hawks that come for an easy meal from the birdfeeders though.
    Those ferns have found the ideal spot to grow haven't they? I like it when plants decide they want to move in and establish themselves.

    Is that a vulture? Are they common around your area Donna?

    It's a turkey buzzard. And yes they are very common here. They are really ugly, but they do a great job cleaning up road kill.
