I was at the Botanical Jardin here in Montreal this past week. Which always inspires me as they have a great Vegetable section, with new varities, different planting methods and a wide range of veg and herbs you wouldn't think would grow here. One interesting technique i saw on there vine tomatoes was staking. Nothing new you will all be thinking. But from what i could see they staked TWO plants to either side of the stake. With drip irrigation at the base. After this years problems with overhead support, I will be trying staking next year, Just didn't think I could Stake two plants to one stake. I think Part of the Trick is leaf pruning to prevent one plant casting too much shade on the other. I wondered if anyone had tried this method?
