I usually put up the garland and lights and big red bows on the front porch on the Friday after Thanksgiving. But since it is 70 deg F today, I put them up this afternoon. I tested the lights first and they all worked. Then I tested them again after I got them all up and they still worked!
We should have did some of our also. But wind that came through late last night.Think would have taken many down.We turn ours on Thanksgiving night.
I won't be putting anything up until after the 16th of December. It's my daughter's 30th birthday on the 16th and we like to keep it separate from Christmas.
