First gift: it rained today! Waking to thunder and lightning, and getting 1.3" of rain was about the best gift a Texas gardener could get! Second gift: A dear friend, who was stumped as to what to give us for Christmas, sent a very generous gift to the local food pantry in our name. We could not have been more pleased, touched, and gratified. A thoughtful, useful, and kind gift from a dear friend who obviously understands the spirit of Christmas. May you all receive such marvelous gifts!
Now those are the kind of gifts we'd all appreciate!! So glad you got the longed for rain and I just know the folks at the local food pantry will be having a great Christmas now too. :-D
Yes enoy your present. Reminds me deposit $$$ we got from Church to Food Bank. They can go buy things they are short of.
Yes they are both great gifts. We adopt a family each Christmas. This year we got a mom and 3 children. The wish list was diapers and coats. I love shopping for this and always spend way more then I should. I just wish I could see the childrens faces Christmas morning.
