I really needed some time in the garden this morning inspite of our travel plans this weekend so I went out for a couple of hours to weed and put down more mulch around the hibiscus plants. That went pretty quick and easy so I decided to start working around the rose bushes where I want to expand the main garden.

My back had been to the main garden while working on the hibiscus bed, I turned around to face the roses and noticed something.....er, someone new under the Fig tree. Should I be concerned about these new arrivals?

    Be very careful Toni.

First off notice the distinct lack of moustaches. Secondly would you trust a gnome with a smile like the gnome on the right. It's obviously a smile born of pure and utter mischief.

Did you manage to overhear any of their conversations by any chance?

The one on the right could easily be a woman in drag. Now you have real cause for alarm.

Have you noticed how much eye liner the one on the left is wearing???? That one looks like a little too pretty to be a guy.

We are leaving in about an hour and will be gone most of the weekend. I certainly hope they behave themselves, I would really hate to come home to find a noise complaint from the neighbors hanging on the front door or worse yet to find a back yard full of gnomelets.
