That's great Pacnorwest, they're doing similar things here, returning streams to their natural route.
I don't know about the Coventry project, but many of the dams in the US are apparently obsolete, no longer in use (some powered wood mills or grain mills), or becoming unsafe. Some are deeply silted up and cant function properly any more. I do like to see the salmon and other fish returning to their native habitats. Makes me happy
