Yes we're back. Though my son and his friends found a place to live and want to leave probably in the next few weeks.
Here is a small tour of what we saw.

Our last of the tour took us to the stock car racing class rooms.

This is where they try out the cars, though we were told the actual track is about 4 miles away where they do actual racing.

Take a look at how cool this classroom is. He could be one to work on one of these also if he wants.

My daughter would be in seventh heaven if she could attend that university!! She loves to tinker with cars and certainly saves herself lots of money by doing running repairs herself. I must show her your photographs. :-D

Hi Petunia, it looks as though you had a good trip. My grandfather built and used to race cars back in the day. We used to go to the South Boston and Martinsville race tracks when I was a child. My dad was a mechanic and my siblings are all pretty handy at it too. My son is kind of in the field but his specialty is electronics on the C-140 Hercules for the Air Force. I hope your son does very well!

Glad you guys are back now. Thanks for the fotos. You know, this whole course of study that your son is embarking on is something totally unknown to me. It looks interesting and I an recall my fascination with autos when I was younger, so I an imagine his interest. I just had no idea that it was a curriulum that one could follow at the uni. Thanks again.
