Hello! I am new here obviously, I am also new to gardening. I actually have SOME experience as I did it all by myself last year without any help, and I wouldn't mind extra pointers and stuff as well this time around. I want to eventually go into a better looking garden than the one that I have already as it's pretty basic and small. I want to actually make a box garden more or less because I am gardening in my parents yard and they only gave me so much space. This way its neater and my brothers won't mow over any of my plants >.<. Anyway I am new Hello!

Hi and welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. Lots of good information coming your way anytime you need it, we love to talk plants.

Please share some photos of your garden and plants. Do you have any pets or hobbies?

I know what you mean about someone mowing down plants. Before I turned our entire front yard into a large garden I would have to put bricks or fencing around anything I wanted my hubby to see and mow around. Now we don't even own a lawn mower so my plants are safe at last.

yeah my brother destroyed my geraniums last year. it was a sad day because I had put them out too early and it wilted then started growing back, but then he mowed it and it was gone.

It seems that I can't put in pictures even from my phone because the image is too large and I am lazy to crop lol but when I can send links from photobucket i will show off my tiny garden. It is small, I have Cucumbers, Turnips, Squash, Broccoli, tomatoes, basil, stavia, jalepeno, and *if it lives* Cilentro in my main food garden. There are a few rose bushes and Iris's in the one in front with some blue boys and other various but only the iris' and roses have blooned :).

I do have a cat and a kid... is he a pet? ;) jk. Other than gardening I really love writing and taking pictures as well as reading.

Thank you so very much for the welcome everyone! Yes Iam more prepared this year when it comes to gardening and i swore to my brothers if they killed any more of my plants they would be sorry.... of course it's an empty threat but so far so good lol

As for my avatar, no a friend drew it for me but I could possibly do something similar myself. though not from a pc lmao. *though I really haven't tried...* But I do think I am artistically inclined to make the tiny little things. :)
