10:20AM, 07OCT16: This is Hank reporting no problems here but I am currently living near Tampa (approximately 20miles inland from West/Gulf coast,) so overcast skies, rain showers, and mild to medium breezes.. The folks on the East/Atlantic coast are near to the hurricane's path but on the lee side if it stays on its predicted course; prayers going out for them.. Hank
Side effect of this hurricane is that the Navy and Air Force pilots at bases in it's path flew the planes to the Naval Air Station in Fort Worth, Tx to protect them from damage but they had to leave their families at home to face the storm alone.
Yikes you are in my prayers for safety also. I can't imagine what it would be like to have a home one minute and then everything is gone in a few hours.
