We are leaving early tomorrow to fly to Nashville, Tn. to visit our son. We are really looking forward to seeing him again this year. We'll be there a week so I'll be absent for a while. I'll fill you in when we get back with pictures to post.

Have a safe trip and a wonderful visit. Flying, even though I don't like to, is so much easier than driving that distance.

I sent you a PM, Ronni. :) Everything is packed and ready to go. We're taking 1 suitcase and a carry on because I'm cheap and won't pay the extra money for the second one. Of course I have an EXTRA large purse. ;) The last thing packed is a package of Deer liver. Our son loves it and, being Mom, I want to spoil him. If I can I'll check in while I'm there, if not I'll catch up with you next week.

Have a nice stay in Nashville 2ofus! I hope you'll be able to meet Ronni. I've always wanted to go to Nashville, even though I'm not a big fan of country music, so please post photos. :)

We had a great time while we were there. Did a little shopping as they have mega discount stores...and we don't! :( We did a lot of talking, shot a lot of pool (he has a pool table), and, as he is a very good cook, ate more than we should have. We met a lot of Clay's friends, some we had met before, plus some new ones. One of the women I met, Sheryl, ask me if Clay had taken me to Gaylords hotel yet. He hadn't but it was on my wish list and she said she would take me. Oh my! The hotel is huge but the real draw is that it has 3 huge atriums and I had heard about all the exotic plants they had. We were both old enough that that much walking wasn't feasible so we rented scooters (at $50.00 each!) Off we went to find out that it is not a handicap friendly place so we couldn't get to a lot of it. We also found out that they had a huge flood a few years back and instead of lots of different unusual flowers it was mainly ferns, calla lily's, impatiens, with a few exotics sparsely scattered around. We spent about 4 hours there and left disappointed but I did make a good friend in the process.
