Love a sale and these little mini roses marked down lots just couldn't be resisted. They were so lush and full of blooms they filled my pre-springtime need. Pink, white, peach, red and a duel colored one. I was so excited to see there were four plants crowded into each small 4" pot. Now the only problem is to keep them alive. I haven't been successful in the past. Maybe this time :-? If not, what a joy to see the blooms in this drizzly, cool weather.

Gorgeous!!! I was able to get 11 of them a couple of years ago for less than $1 each....most died during the long hot summer and the rest gave it up last summer for the same reason.
I checked out our local Kroger this morning but they didn't have them on sale yet, will have to check again in a couple of days.

Those look like a really good deal to me - especially getting four in each pot. I hope they all survive and grow well for you. There's enough plants there to make a little rose garden. :-D

I've been thinking the same thing... usually the stores will mark down the mini roses right after Valentine's. I need to go check to see if I can find some.
You found a very nice variety Jewell. Good luck with them!

Thanks all. Being in pots I can treat them for the dreaded black spot that destroys the beauty of roses in this area. If they prosper I'll show them off :-D If not, never to be mentioned again ;)

So NOW who is the enabler. Gotta start checking around to find one of the purplish ones...maybe a striped one or two. Oh bother!

Cherylad, Darn! We don't have Kroger here :( I will have to keep my eye out for that lavender...oops I am out of matching pots. Maybe I'd better blind-fold myself when I go by the sale tables. :D I still have to buy potting soil for the last two pots.
