I found this plant a few yrs ago at a local nursery and it's still a favorite of mine.
It's not flowering at the moment, but when it does, the scent is similar to mild peppermint. It's a very thirsty plant  It flowers every year, sometimes twice, compared to the all green one which hasn't flowered in years and never had a scent :-o

I have a Peace Lily too and it's also a favourite of mine. It seems to thrive on neglect!! :-D

I don't remember ever seeing a varigated Peace Lily, but I really like that. Makes it interesting! Thanks for posting pic.

I will keep that one in mind if I ever need another plant. It looks like it enjoys the sun.

The fragrance it has is good to know...that will make me even more alert to the possibility of finding one. Thanks!

I don't know if you can tell from the photo or not, but the leaves are more stiff/course feeling and bumpy, not smooth like the green one.

Sherry, yes, it likes some sun, just not strong. It seems to keep it happy!

I'll keep an eye out for another one so I can take cuttings...

That is a cool plant! I love all plants with variegation. I have just recently aquired a green Peace Lily orphan, and it is a thirsty one too!

You must be really good with plants. My varigated peace lily http://www.gardenstew.com/plantstew/9000990 has only bloomed once. Maybe this next year. Wish mine had a scent like yours. Yours definitely has all the right things going for it. I like all the white on your plants leaves. Striking.

Your peace lily is a nice one Jewell!

It seems to have a good amount of white in the leaves too. As it grows you'll probably see more of it.
I have mine right in front of a west window where it gets some direct sun but not strong because of some trees out front, otherwise it gets bright indirect. It gets a diluted amount of fertilizer even in the winter, maybe between the sun and fertilizer it helps with the flowers being mildly scented :?:

I took a cutting one time which had more white in the green leaves, the new leaves that grew were either all white, or mostly white. I gave the plant away so I don't know if it continued to send out white leaves or not.Grrr, I should have kept it :'(

Here's an older photo of the cutting. Notice the three white, or near white new leaves in the middle....

What a cool Peace Lily! I have never seen one with variegation before.

I keep both of mine in a south facing windows and they bloom off and on all the time.

I will have to keep my eyes open for one of those!

    Thanks for the pictures!

When I worked in a Flower Shop a few years ago we had both the all green type and the one you have posted, it seemed that the variegated type always grew much healthier and fuller like you said. They are definitely very beautiful house plants.
