    My guesses:

    Top foto: Lupine

    Foto#2: a poppy

    Foto#3: I do not know

    Foto#4: a poppy

    Foto#5: A Dahlia...possibly "Arabian Night".

Let me stress that these are guesses, Luke. Perhaps others on here will know for sure.

Sjoerd's guesses are what I would have said too Luke. I'm afraid I don't know either what number three is though.

Number 3 could be Yucca or Iris

Yucca sounds good to me, Netty. We don't have them here where I live, but I do recall seeing them whilst travelling in the SW U.S.

You could well be correct on this one. Brava!

iris was my first thought for number 3 but the seeds are wafer thin and not like any other iris seeds i have, so i wasn't sure. the seeds in pod 2 (the elongated poppy looking one) are tiny half moons and not round like alot of poppies so i wasn't too sure about that either. i looked at the dahlia and the flowers is similar but not double or triple blooms, the flowers look alot like cosmos and the foliage on the plant was a dark crimson, almost black :)

I was thinking maybe rose of sharon for #3. I have never seen a hibiscus pod from a tropical hibiscus, but Margie sent me a few seeds from one and the one that survived the trip through the mail was rather chunky, not flat. sorry to not be of more help on any of the others...none of them really look familiar. The only poppies I have seen the pods on were much rounder than your pods. Are there any seeds coming out of those pods? poppy seeds that I am familiar with are round black seeds with a haze or coating that looks like they have been dipped in milk and dried.

I going with Netty on #3 being Yucca. Iris seed pods are long and thinner, Hibiscus pods are similar to the photo but their seeds are round and black,

theres a couple of seeds in front of pod 3 so you can see how thin they are and different to iris, hibiscus. . . .carolyn no seeds were coming from the pods until i broke them open, and they don't look like poppy seeds much to me either . . . . i'll try and post some pics of the actual seed :-D

the few poppies have had go to seed, the seeds literally poured right out the top of the pod. the top had a sort of fluted "layer" where the seeds came out from under. If I wasn't careful when cutting the stems and tipped them I would lose the seeds.
