Didn't get these pictures taken yesterday, the rain started before I had the chance.

The Lemon Cucumbers are coming up, I direct seeded them into their bed instead of in the bloom house. 6 of the 10 seeds germinated. I am going to stick 4 more out there.

I found some plastic planters at Dollar General that look like half whiskey barrels. This one has the Buttercup Squash in it...also direct seeded them. The chicken wire is to keep the squirrels from digging in the planter. And the old ladder I painted blue last year for a cypress vine trellis, this year the squash will grow up it instead. I know I don't need to keep all those seedlings but I will wait a week or two more before thinning them out.

These are the two pumpkin seedlings I have from store bought pumpkins. They will go into the ground this later this week.

P.S. Also found two pole bean seedlings coming up from the ones that sort of grew last year but didn't have a chance because of the drought. Not big enought to look good in a picture but I will take one later.

Looks good. You'll be eating veggies before you know it.

Ouch, now I feel Really guilty about my seeds still sitting in pretty packets. OK, ok, tomorrow it's the potting shed for me!
