Very large leaves but isn't too tall

    Yellow dock. Terrible tenacious tap root. You need to dig to China with a very sharp shovel to get it out...and do so fast.

    I have that stuff, and I hate it. It has a taproot to China like Carolyn says. You might want to use something stronger than a shovel on it.

    Before it goes you might want to look around and make sure that you don't have any stinging nettles in the area-they tend to grow in similar areas,at least over here they do,because if you get stung by the nettles the best cure is to rub the spot with a crushed dock leaf.

    The plant was pulled out yesterday - though I think the root remained. Have to get on that soon.
    Didn't see any stinging nettles. Thanks for the warning, Kiasmom.
